The TMMA provides a TMMA email account for each duly elected or appointed and currently serving Winchester Town Meeting member in good standing, as certified by the Winchester town clerk.
The TMMA provides TMMA email accounts to make it easier for Winchester Town Meeting Association members to communicate with one another and their constituents without requiring members to use or publish their personal or business email address on a publicly accessible website.
However, the TMMA email account is not a substitute for your:
Personal or business email account; or
Official Winchester email account if you are an elected official or appointed member of a town board, committee or commission and, therefore, subject to the Commonwealth's Open Meeting Law.
Your TMMA email account will be closed when you leave Winchester Town Meeting.
The TMMA reserves the right to block or close accounts of TMMA members who do not comply with the TMMA social media policy.
All Winchester Town Meeting members will receive an email invitation to use TMMA email. (The email will also include information needed to sign in to the TMMA discussion board.) The email invitation will come from the WebManager@WinchesterTMMA.org.
The invitation will include the information needed to read and send TMMA email from your smartphone/iPhone, iPad/tablet and/or notebook/desktop computer.
If you do not receive an email invitation from the TMMA, check your junk mail/spam folder. If you cannot locate the email invitation, send a request to WebManager@WinchesterTMMA.org asking for help.
The TMMA invitation email will include:
Your mail address: (example: JDoe@WinchesterTMMA.org)
Your password: (example: xxXXxxXx)
Information that may be needed to set up your preferred email reader/app:
IMAP and SMTP server addresses: (example: mail.winchestertmma.org)
The Web Manager will set up your email display name and signature block:
Your email display name: (example: John Doe-5)
Your email signature block: (example: John Doe, Town Meeting Member, Precinct 5)
You can read and send TMMA email using:
Your email reader/app; e.g., Apple Mail, Microsoft Outlook, Mozilla Thunderbird, etc.; and/or
Your Internet browser; e.g., Safari, Chrome, etc.
You can send and receive TMMA email using your preferred email reader/app; e.g., Apple Mail, Microsoft Outlook, Mozilla Thunderbird, etc. The specifics will vary by email reader/app, but, typically, to add a TMMA account:
On your notebook or desktop, open your email reader/app and click on the "Mail" menu; or
On your Smartphone/iPhone or a tablet/iPad, from your main menu, open "Settings" and select "Mail."
Click "Add Account."
Select "Other" for email service provider.
Under New Account, enter your information in place of the examples below:
Name: (example: Jane Doe Precinct 5)
Email: (example: JDoe@WinchesterTMMA.org)
Password:(example: xxXXxxXx)
Description: Winchester TMMA
If your email reader/app asks about the IMAP/Incoming Mail Server, enter your information in place of the examples below:
Host Name: mail.winchestertmma.org
User Name: (example: JDoe@WinchesterTMMA.org)
Password: (example: xxXXxxXx)
If your email reader/app asks about the SMTP/Outgoing Mail Server, enter your information in place of the examples below:
Host Name: mail.winchestertmma.org
User Name: (example: JDoe@WinchesterTMMA.org)
Password: (example: xxXXxxXx)
You may change your email password after you have signed in; however, you must use your original password for your initial sign-in to the TMMA email.
You can also send and receive TMMA email using your Internet browser; e.g., Chrome, Safari, Windows, etc.
Open your browser and enter https://vda4000.is.cc/roundcube in the address bar.

Under "Sign In," enter your information in place of the examples below:
Email: (example: JDoe@WinchesterTMMA.org)
Password: (example: xxXXxxXx)
Once logged into your TMMA email account, you can:
Send and receive emails; and
Select your preferred format for composing your email; e.g., font, font size, etc.
You may change your email password after you have signed in; however, you must use your original password for your initial sign-in to the TMMA email.

Send an email to WebManager@WinchesterTMMA.org stating that you want to use your personal email address and provide your preferred personal email address.

Send an email to WebManager@WinchesterTMMA.org declining the invitation. The TMMA will not list a TMMA or personal email address for you.
